On this tour you will drive south from Jerusalem, through the 'tunnel road' which goes under the community of Beit Jalla which is cut off from Jerusalem by the Separation Barrier. You'll see many Israeli settllements and Palestinian farms on the drive south. Between Bethlehem and Hebron is the village of Beit Ummar where you'll meet Mousa, a Palestinian Muslim and his wife Bekka, an American/Israeli Jew. They will give you a tour of the village and discuss the situation between the villagers and the surrounding settlements that continue to expand on to village lands.

After lunch in the village you'll head south to Hebron and visit the Old City, Abraham's Tomb and Mosque, and visit with a Palestinian family to learn about their experiences under the Israeli Occupation. You can visit the glass-blowing workshop or the Kafiya factory before returning to Jerusalem.

Since this is a private tour you can request modifications of the itinerary to suit your needs. It is sometimes possible to arrange a visit with settlers en-route, or you can request more time in either Hebron or the village.
